Rotor – read read read
WHY AND HOW ROTOR – developed between 1957 and 1960, published in 1961, it is a text without a contexual beginning and end. It can be read differently and is therefore open to a variety of interpretations
An acoustic interpretation led Michael Lentz at the 13.5.2011 to the Bayerischen Rundfunk. Personally, I got once again familiar with my youth-text after around 50 years, in which I composed thematically selected „positions“ from the Rotor to a polyphonic „Rotoradio“ (Produktion Deutschlandradio Kultur 2011/12).
Originally intended for silent reading, both sound versions maintained themselves without pre-loudness. Additionally completely different interpretations of this open text are conceivable – for example a multimedia, permanent or temporary „installation“ from type-image and word-sound, a Rotor-film maybe – certainly almost a musical (who knows…).
When I first dealt with this long forgotten material, it won my astonishment and in 2012 I once again moved it back and forth in my heart and before my eyes, reading it silently but rather actively, reading back and forth, up and down and read transversely and transversely and: crossed out and crossed out again, further read and crossed out and crossed out again and and. Everyone can do that, I can do that, anyone can do so or similarly endlessely continue doing.

Rotor – lesen las gelesen
WARUM UND WIE
ROTOR – entstanden zwischen 1957 und 1960, erschienen 1961, ist ein Text ohne inhaltlichen Anfang und Ende. Er kann unterschiedlich gelesen werden und ist daher für vielfältige Interpretationen offen.
Eine akustische Interpretation lieferte Michael Lentz am 13.5.2011 im Bayerischen Rundfunk. Ich selbst näherte mich nach zirka 50 Jahren erstmals wieder meinem Jugend-Text, indem ich thematisch ausgewählte „Stellen“ aus dem Rotor zu einem vielstimmigen „Rotoradio“ komponierte (Produktion Deutschlandradio Kultur 2011/12).
Ursprünglich zur stummen Lektüre vorgesehen, behaupteten sich beide Lautversionen ohne vor-laut zu sein. Auch ganz andere Interpretationen dieses offenen Textes sind denkbar – z. B. eine multimediale, permanente oder temporäre „Installation“ aus Schrift-Bild und Wort-Laut, ein Rotor-Film vielleicht – sicher kaum ein Musical (wer weiss…).
Einmal mit diesem lang vergessenen Material befasst, hatte ich dieses zu meiner Verwunderung lieb gewonnen und es 2012 noch einmal in meinem Herzen und vor meinen Augen hin und her bewegt, es stumm aber ziemlich aktiv gelesen, vor und zurück gelesen, rauf und runter und quer und quer gelesen und: durchgestrichen und wieder durchgestrichen, weiter gelesen und erneut durch und durch gestrichen und gestrichen und und und. Das kann man, das kann ich, das kann jeder so oder ähnlich ohne Ende weiterführen.
